I work for a nonprofit and can’t log in to the website with my login information. What do I do?

The first thing you can try is go to portal.dotopia.com and enter your login information there.

Can I donate to an individual?

Our platform only directs funds to certified nonprofit organizations, but we have many options, over 1.6 million nonprofits to be exact!

You can gift DoDollars to an individual for them to give to their nonprofit of choice.

Where can I find how many DoDollars I have in my account?

You can login to your account here. When you do, you will see your account balance in the upper right-hand corner of your screen next to your name. Happy giving!

I can’t find my nonprofit when I search for it.

Sometimes specific nonprofits are not discoverable in our database as they may have very descriptive names. We have over 1.6 million nonprofits on our platform but there are far more that exist. Try searching using quotation marks around your nonproft’s name (e.g. “Children’s Home”) and be state specific. If you still have problems please contact us and we can get your nonprofit added.

I made a gift on X date and the nonprofit has not received it yet. When will they receive it?

Currently donor fund distribution is done on the 15th of the month for the month’s prior term transactions.  For example, November 15th distribution includes gifts from October 1st through October 31st.

I’m with nonprofit X and we received a check. We’d like more information.

DoTopia is a DAF 501 c3. We manage and administer programs allowing donors to receive funded awards that they in turn can designate to the charity of their choice.  If you did not receive donor information in your distribution letter, that information is not available.

How can I get verification that my DoDollars have been received by the nonprofit I gave them to?

We do not currently send out notification of distribution of funds, but if you would like us to find out for you, please feel free to contact our support staff at josh@dotopia.com.
